Dear Mr. C,

Re: Letter of Resignation

It is with both regret and anticipation that I submit this letter of resignation, effective December 31, 2006. I have accepted a position with R P as an academic staff with the C of E D, in pursuit of my childhood dream of touching people’s lives through teaching.

It has been an immense pleasure to work for X X Company during these last 2 months as Communications Executive under the strong leadership of A S, Vice-President Communications and L S F, Senior Vice President. I have enjoyed working with X X Company’s fine staff of professionals and colleagues, in particular M O, CEO PA, on several challenging and fulfilling corporate communications projects. I will definitely miss my associations here and I wish you and X X Company continued success in future directions that the company endeavours to take.

If I may be of any assistance in the hiring process or training of my replacement, please know that I will gladly make myself available to this effort till the date of my resignation.
