Yet another CBD Shot

It's been a silent week in office this week as my usual lunch buddy YK had to go on this "investigator" course for most of the week. However Monday was really great as MDL suddenly proposed running down to the temple at Bugis to pray (it's some special occasion (deity's birthday?) and there were TONS of people) and I decided to go since it sounds like great fun. It was indeed, especially after we did our praying where we went to level two of the hawker center to grab more preserved plums that she and a few other female colleagues have a whole hoard of in the office. She bought a big pack of sweets as well, and woe behold it landed on my desk when I was away at a meeting and I only realised it after she left. ARGH~! But very, very sweet of her and definitely memorable. I think I'm getting pretty well-accepted in our team of (gulp) 3 but I've already bade goodbye...

Anyway she had other plans on other days so it's by myself that I explored Raffles Place again. There was this magic show and yeah, magic show lor.


Then on Wednesday there is this funny public display by 3M with their new product that looks like a brush. Don't ask me what it is 'cos it looks like a huge stick without bristles yet I don't see the connection with the toilet. Sounds like a toilet cleaner brush to me.


So this is the interior of the 'smart' lift we have at Republic Plaza.

Oh! Yesterday I saw this ang mor lady passing out leaflets on promotions by UOB credit cards. I couldn't muster my ourage to walk up to her to take a picture, especially when she sounded embarrassed after someone she knows walked to her and the both of them started laughing together. Haha!
