Well, well, here I am again for another buzz update on my life as an undergraduate. The semester is now in full swing (maybe not, because of the long stretch of Chinese New Year holidays coming up) so things are getting quite busy around here.

There is this stall in the non air-conditioned canteen in PGP that sells nasi lemak-type of meals at an affordable $2.30. I like their black pepper chicken variety, which I usually have with and egg and vegetables. Last Tuesday the uncle came up with a new variety and after some cajoling, finally gave me a piece to try. Here it is:

Looks a little gross? Oh well it's food, so it's alright. It tasted quite alright, with a taste of Sichuan spice. I didn't like the salt though, a tad too much. That was what Bernie said about the black pepper chicken too the last time he tried - it was too peppery!

I popped by 堀江先生's (Horie Sensei) office the other day to return her the interview project VCD which our class did last semester for Japanese 3. I totally freaked out after entering her office and no Japanese phrase came out correct. I used plain form (only for friends), tried absymally to strike a conversation and was even rude to the sensei next cubicle who helped us take the picture. I gave her a Chinese New Year card though, and I hope she liked it. I think she's a really good sensei and I always leave her classes with a loose tongue and a good mental workout. Horie sensei! Come and teach us Japanese 4 please!

Here are two pictures when I was running around school doing administrative stuff (read: print notes) or trying to sneak away from lecturers. I took this self-portrait in the School of Computing lift which is pretty spacious (I Love School of Computing - for its facilities). Below's the big LT27 where most first and second years have their lectures in and that's Medicine in the background.

This is my new breakfast - tada! I used to have dark soy sauce together with half-boiled eggs but the dark soy sauce bottle leaked (I should have taken a picture - it was disgusting) and I didn't get a new one after throwing the old one away. I just had it today too. Though the taste isn't as exciting.. oh well.. life of a nonchalant undergraduate!
Haven't really done tutorials nor did HYP, feeling lazy today. I guess I should do some work after all or I'll live to regret.
