Post-Teaching Life
The title is telling isn't it? I really miss the kids and I heard that the new teacher's hardly audible and didn't go into a class yesterday. Worrying signs, if you ask me. However, pragmatism holds me back from returning - I will be working like crazy, clocking an average of 10 hours daily and paid very little. Moreover it's a commitment of 3 months, a long duration that I can ill-afford given my financial situation. Besides, I would and should try out what the world has to offer in terms of career - make hay while the freshness of the Bachelors degree attracts other employers!
But... sigh...
I started work at a company yesterday, updating content on their web site. It is a very simple job actually, and pays very well with very flexible hours. I even contemplated rushing down to their office and work after teaching :D but that's so impossible as I will definitely have to stay in school during sunshine hours anyway to prepare if I were to teach. I guess I only have 24 hours a day. :(
